My son Maarten Vermeulen wrote a moving, artistic story about our trip to Champagne and Vosges where we visited Friedrich Kronauers grave and the Hartmannsweilerkopf, where Bernhard Kronauer got wounded in 1915. In Dutch.
Very good review of Krieg on punkrocknews.de !
17.09.2017. A year ago Krieg 1916 was presented in Forum Images, with the cooperation of, and with the interest of many dear, dear people. It was then 100 years since my German Great Uncle Bernhard Kronauer died at the hamlet Lipica Dolna, the current Nyzhnya Lypytsya in western Ukraine. Now, 101 years after he gave his life “for God and Country”, I would like to remember Bernhard with a track from the Krieg album: Im Osten.
Exciting news! A new, very special, clip is coming out in November 2017. After Abschied and Brüder this will be the third and, for the time being last clip from the Krieg album. But it’s going to be quite something I promise! Made by two inspiring young makers, Artur Poterski and Anne Fie Salverda.
Friend Eric Frauenfelder handing over a copy of Krieg to Jean-paul de Vries of the remarkable museum Romagne ’14 – ’18. Cool!
See the trailer for follow-up project Brüder!
